Join in the Research

Being born at the end of the boomer generation, the American Dream was kind of dictated to young girls to mean finishing high school, having 2.5 children, staying at home, living in a house with a white picket fence. I'm not saying this was bad, I'm stating the facts.  Several years ago my American Dream changed.  I decided that I wanted to return to school to get my Bachelors Degree and after that my Masters Degree.  I wanted to do something that nobody in my family had ever done. While  going to school I learned to love doing research.  After graduating in 2010, not being able to find a job in my field of study, because everyone wants years of experience and are unwilling to give you the opportunity to obtain that experience, I have decided that my dream is now to write my first book.  Join me on this journey and tell me what the American Dream means to you, what it meant in the past and how it has changed to today. I don't know at this time the format the book will end up in.  If you do not want your name mentioned I will not mention it.  If you share with me on my blog I accept the fact that you have given me permission to use your information in the book.  Hopefully, someday the book will get published.

What is the American Dream?

I am beginning my first manuscript.  I am a political science graduate.  I would like to ask anyone that would like to answer some research questions to please do so.

1.  What decade was you born?
2.  What is your ethnicity?
3.  What is your gender?
4.  What was/is your idea of the American Dream while you were a senior in high school?
5.  What was/is your idea of the American Dream when you graduated college?
6.  What is your idea of the American Dream today?
